I'm Cat

I live in the vibrant, fast-paced city of New York with my husband of nearly 20 years, our two daughters, and our two beloved dogs. Originally from Mexico, I moved here 12 years ago and have proudly made this city my home.
I work at a cancer care hospital in Manhattan, supporting the psychiatric department with research and language services. Alongside this work, I have been a bilingual counselor for individuals and couples for more than 16 years, helping people navigate life’s challenges with compassion and clarity.

I hold a Licenciatura en Psicología from Universidad Autónoma de Durango and have spent over 20 years working in mental health-adjacent roles, including in hospitals, educational institutions, and community organizations.
I offer culturally sensitive support, grounded in psychological principles and real-world experience, especially for people from Latin American backgrounds, immigrants, and bilingual families.
